Men's Health Week 2021: Planning Meeting

Men's Health Week 2021: Planning Meeting

£0.00

For our Men's Health Week this year between 14th and 20th June, our theme will be men's mental health and the effect the pandemic and lockdowns have had on it.

This is a vital issue: the last year has seen increases in alcohol and gambling addiction and domestic violence. We can expect the loneliness and isolation, bereavement and unemployment associated with lockdown to have major effects. And that's aside from long-term effects many are experiencing from COVID itself.

The objective for our planning meeting is how to make the week as big and as impactful as possible.

  • What are the particular issues men are facing with their mental health?
  • What do you need to make Men’s Health Week work for your organisation?
  • What should we be asking government and policymakers?

We are keen to gather together as many men and stakeholders to plan for how we raise awareness and achieve better outcomes for mental health issues and their gendered manifestations, and how we can tackle lockdown-related mental distress as life returns to normal.

This year we want to produce more events and materials, and reach more men, than ever before. Please sign-up to join the discussion.
